When to go?
Peak season is December to March when many places are hot and humid. Prices tend to drop in April or May. Although this is coming in to winter, it's the perfect time to visit Rio's beaches or the Inca Trail. June to October are good months to visit, except for southern Chile when it gets a bit chilly!
