Alitalia is Italy's national airline. Founded in 1947 and based in Rome, Alitalia transports passengers and cargo to 100 destinations in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North and South America.
Alitalia's fleet of over 180 planes in a Eurowhite livery of white, green and red, carries around 25 million passengers annually and offers an Economy and Business class service.
In Europe, Alitalia serves 63 airports and works out of its hubs at Rome Fumicino and Milan Malpensa.
