Cyprus Airways

Cyprus Airways is the national Cyprian airline, based in the capital city of Nicosia. Founded in 1947, the airline was a joint venture between the Cyprian government and private investors.

Cyprus Airways operates scheduled flights from London (Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick), Birmingham and Manchester airports to over 30 destinations, primarily across Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf.

For plane-spotters, all Cyprus Airways' craft display the 'mouflon' symbol on the tail ' a species of wild sheep indigenous to the island.
