Malaysia Airlines
Since 1972, Malaysia Airlines has been the national flag carrier for Malaysia. It is recognised as one of Asia's largest, carrying 48,000 people across six continents to 100 destinations every day.
Best-practice excellence is a hallmark of Malaysia Airlines, and is borne out by a succession of awards including Best Cabin Crew from 2001 until 2004. It also achieved a five-star rating in 2005 and 2006, and was voted the world's top airline for Economy Class Onboard Excellence (all awards are Skytrax).
Malaysia Airlines is based in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, and has hubs in Kota Kinabalu, Penang and Kuching.
